Education Program Coordinator

Location: Osolo Elementary School; Elkhart

Under 30 hours per week

Hours: 2:30pm – 6:30pm Mon – Fri. 22 to 23 hours per week

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required; higher education is preferred.
  • Minimum of at-least one year of administrative experience working with children and adults.
  • Experience in program management, staff scheduling, leadership of program staff and participation in activities, goal setting, and program implementation.
  • First Aid and CPR Certifications.

Duties:

  • Implement activities in accordance with curriculum objectives, developmentally appropriate practice and program philosophy. Assure that planned activities meet the needs and interests of children.
  • Maintain quality condition of supplies, equipment and materials. Maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Adhere to the Boys & Girls Club/KidsCare standards, policies and procedures.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of attendance, activity planning, etc., daily schedules.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as filling out reports, forms, etc. as assigned.
  • Collect fees and process money according to established procedures.
  • Communicate and relate to staff, parents and supervisors in professional manner and attitude.
  • Report any suspect abuse to supervisor.

Healthy Lifestyles Program Coordinator

Location: Beardsley Elementary School; Elkhart

Under 30 hours per week

Hours: 2:00pm – 6:30pm Mon – Fri. 22 to 23 hours per week

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required; higher education is preferred.
  • Minimum of at-least one year of administrative experience working with children and adults.

Location: Beardsley Elementary School; Elkhart

Under 30 hours per week

Hours: 2:30pm – 6:30pm Mon – Fri., Wed 2:00pm – 6:00pm 20 hours per week

Qualifications: High School or equivalent required. Bachelors preferred. Minimum of one year of administrative experience working with children and adults, program implementation, management, scheduling, and leading staff. First Aid and CPR Certifications preferred.

Duties: Plans, implements, supervises and evaluates activities provided in the Sports and Fitness program area in a high-energy, enthusiastic manner. Implement activities and ensure that planned activities meet the needs and interests of children, maintain quality condition of supplies, equipment and materials, and maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhere to the Boys & Girls Club/KidsCare standards, policies and procedures, maintain up-to-date records of attendance, activity planning, etc., daily schedules, perform administrative tasks, such as filling out reports, forms, etc. as assigned, collect fees and process money according to established procedures, communicate and relate to staff, parents and supervisors in professional manner and attitude, report any suspect abuse to supervisor.

Under 30 hours per week

Hours: 5:15 am – 8:45 am Mon-Fri 17 hours per week

Qualifications:

  • High School or equivalent required. Bachelors preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of administrative experience working with children and adults, program implementation and management, and scheduling and leading staff.
  • First Aid and CPR Certifications preferred.

Duties:

  • Implement activities and ensure that planned activities meet the needs and interests of children
  • Maintain quality condition of supplies, equipment and materials, and maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Adhere to the Boys & Girls Club/KidsCare standards, policies and procedures
  • Maintain up-to-date records of attendance, activity planning, etc.

  • Assists in conducting activities that provide fun, beneficial and imaginative programs in the program area within the scope of Boys & Girls Club/KidsCare programming.
